My neighbor's cat once looked me dead in the eye and began to telepathically dictate a lost chapter of the Book of Revelations to me. He explained that he was the angel Gabriel (in cat form), and God had chosen me as his prophet. I tried to write it down, but couldn't figure out how to use a pencil at the time (I'd had a lot of acid earlier that day. Also some Vicodin, opium, and a handful large orange pills).Obviously, some of my unusual experiences that day could have been related to the drugs, but the cat part was definitely from God.

Great story - wonderful gift for cat and/or animal lovers =)
I bought this book as a white elephant gift because I think the front cover and the title are pretty hilarious. Of course, I had to read the book myself before wrapping it up. Well, I enjoyed it immensely! The author seems like the kind of friend we'd all love to have. His message is authentic, simple, humorous at times, heartwarming, and comforting. I think this book would make a great gift for someone who has lost a beloved cat, especially if they are a person of faith.
Shows you how to enjoy life and God through little things. Appreciate what is around you. I enjoyed the book.
God frequently speaks to me through cats, although I'm not always certain why God is meowing insistently at me at 5 AM or why He in His divine wisdom has hacked up a hairball into my Nikes. God moves in mysterious ways!

If you've recently lost a cat, or struggling with sadness, alienation, discouragement, this book is actually a pretty powerful antidepressant. I bought it because I thought the title was funny. I love cats, and while I'm not religious at all, I'm not disgusted by a little bit of spirituality. This book uses a very light touch, is not preachy at all, and is humorous and at times, when he's describing the cat on the roof, and the stars shining everywhere, uplifting and beautiful. There's a message of hope here. Not corny. Not sure how this guy wrote such a subtle and inspiring message, something uplifting without being annoying or fake-cheery.
